TLS as President on 9 x 7 green, blue-imprinted “The White House/Washington” letterhead, May 27 1963, to James W. Wadsworth, President, International Club of Washington, Inc. President Kennedy is pleased to accept the kind invitation of the Club to become Honorary Chairman of the Club’s Founders Committee. JFK’s opinion is that the Club “will fill a long-felt need and will be an important contribution to the international life of the Capital. He asks Wadsworth to express his best wishes for success to the other officers and to the members of the Founders Committee, “among whom I count a number of friends and former associates.” Nice authentic example of JFK’s presidential signature!

On May 27 1963, The First Family departed Camp David . The President’s 1st meeting back in the White House was with Jerald Wright, US Ambassador to the Republic of China.
