TLS “Lyndon” on 9 x 7 blue-printed “Office of the Vice President” letterhead with seal at top, Washington, August 21 1962, to John W. DeVine, Corpus Christi, Texas.  LBJ thanks DeVine, editor of the former Nueces County (Texas) News, for his warm letter which “…was as tasty as that first cup of coffee in the morning!” The VP appreciates “…the plaudits you gave the President [JFK] and me and I will endeavor to continue to be worthy of your praise.”

Condition: Very good, slight crease at top left magnified in image.
