TLS as VP on 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 blue-bordered white notecard with the gold and blue Vice President’s seal at the top left, (Washington), January 25 1985, to “Dear Barnee” (Breskin). About a week after the 2nd Reagan-Bush Inauguration, Bush seemingly has his eyes on the next election, saying; “Nothing has changed since we talked. It is still very early but more and more political talk abounds.” He tells his friend how much he appreciates his support, and enjoyed their phone chat in Florida.

In 1938, he wrote and obtained the copyright for the music for “Hail to the Redskins”, the football team’s fight song. Associated with the Redskins since the team moved from Boston in 1937, led the Redskin Wigwam Band at Griffith Stadium and was the team’s director of entertainment 1938-52. A long-time Washington PR executive, he strongly supported his friend Bush’s 1980 run for the presidency.
